SWLA Industrial Boom & NAI Lake Charles

If you read any local newspaper or Google 'Southwest Louisiana', chances are you are going to see something regarding the industrial boom the Lake area is experiencing. According to regional economists Dr. Loren Scott, the Lake Charles MSA will be the fastest growing in the state over the next two years. What is behind this you may ask?  There is really only one answer- Industry. A remarkable $10 to $20 billion in new construction projects. Dr. Scott's report came out in October of 2011. It is without a doubt that his predictions are true. In the past 6 months, SWLA has seen a swarm of companies looking for industrial zoned acreage and warehouse space. NAI Lake Charles has been contacted by 20+ companies looking for these exact specs or build to suit opportunities. NAI LC is right in the middle of the storm.
